Sensory Play

The Old Forge Library will host Sensory Play, this program provides a safe and inclusive environment for neurodiverse patrons and community members to explore a variety of textures, sounds, and visual experiences.

Sensory Play encourages creativity, relaxation, focus, and cognitive engagement for participants of all abilities. The program can help reduce stress, promote mindfulness, enhance motor skills, and provide opportunities for social interaction and self-expression.

January Schedule:

  • Tuesdays, January 6, 13, and 20 at 10:15 am
  • Wednesdays, January 7, 14, and 21 at 1:30 pm

February and March Schedule:

  • Thursdays, February 19 and 26, and March 5 at 10:15 am
  • Fridays, February 20 and 27, and March 6 at 1:00 pm

The program is open to all ages and abilities!

Registration is encouraged for planning purposes, but walk-ins are welcome!
