The Indian Lake Multi Use Trail System is a mountain bikers paradise!

The project started in 2017 with a recreation and feasibility study of the Town of Indian Lake’s

abandon ski slopes and the Indian Lake Central School properties off Crow Hill Road. The study

revealed the area was prime for development of additional trails for cross country race training,

Nordic skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and walking.

Trails include the following:

Connector Trail - 0.4 miles, 26' vertical

Summit Trail - 0.6 miles, 222' vertical

Freeride Trail - 0.3miles, 222'vertical

Loop Trail - 0.4 miles, 140' vertical

Construction of the trails started in 2021 under the guidance of Wilderness Property

Management whose goal is to connect and transform communities through the power of trails.

The trails can be accessed at two points either on Crow Hill Road or at the Ski Hut location. Both

access points are within less than 1/2 mile from downtown Indian Lake.

The trails are free and all are welcome!
