Adirondacker Laura Baker weaves heart-rendering personal tales into the story of how the Adirondacks became the birthplace of outdoor recreation. This includes a catalyst for the construction of the Adirondack Great Camps, the book "Adventures in Wilderness" by William H.H. Murray, published in 1869. Join us for dinner beforehand at 6:00 pm in Great Camp Sagamore’s historic Dining Hall! The presentation begins at 7:15 pm. Advance registration is requested for the event and required for dinner at www.sagamore.org.
