Colonel Peck Gravesite Commemoration & Historical Walk
Revolutionary War 1776–2026
Step back into our region’s proud Revolutionary War heritage and honor one of Lake Pleasant’s earliest patriots at a special historical gathering and guided walk to Colonel Peck’s gravesite.
Hosted at the Lake Pleasant Library, the program begins with an engaging historical presentation by Aaron Weaver, Lake Pleasant Historian, who will share the story of Colonel Peck, during the Revolution, and the enduring legacy of those who shaped our community’s earliest days.
Following the presentation, participants will join a guided hike to the gravesite to pay tribute and experience this important landmark firsthand.

Lake Pleasant Library, followed by a short guided hike to the gravesite
Community members, families, and history enthusiasts of all ages are warmly invited to attend. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended for the hike.
