The Old Forge Library, 220 Crosby Blvd., invites children and families to Stories Set in Stone on Thursday, August 6, from 1:30–3 p.m., as part of this year's Summer Reading Program, "Unearth a Story."
Children will enjoy two hands-on prehistoric-themed activities. Participants will build and decorate their own wooden dinosaur skeleton models, then create Salt Dough Fossils by pressing textures and shapes into homemade dough to make fossil-inspired keepsakes.
The program is designed for children ages 4–10, though older children are welcome, and younger children may attend with an adult.
