As part of the Comprehensive Plan process a Public Workshop will take place at the Farmers Market. 

The Village of Speculator invites all interested members of the public to participate in a Public Workshop at the Speculator Farmers Market. A Public Workshop is a drop-in style event where attendees can read about the Comprehensive Plan Update process for the Village of Speculator, interact with boards set-up to gather feedback on the community, and speak with members of the team that is drafting the plan. Attendees are welcome to stop by at any time and stay for as little or as long as they’d like. Public input is vital to the development of the update to the comprehensive plan and all interested members of the public are encouraged to be an active part of the process. A comprehensive plan is a long-term strategic document that outlines a community’s vision for the future and identifies the goals needed to achieve it. The plan will reflect shared community values and priorities, which may include land use, housing, infrastructure, tourism and economic development, natural resource protection, and arts and culture.
