Escape to Tupper Lake: Your Cozy Retreat in the Adirondacks

Hello, Traveler,

Picture yourself unwinding in a peaceful spot where the Adirondack mountains meet quiet lakes, and every day feels like a fresh start. Welcome to my inviting B&B in Tupper Lake—the “Hidden Jewel of the Adirondacks.” I’m a producer and designer originally from New York City, now happily settled here after five wonderful years in New Orleans. My trips to Italy, France, Spain, Morocco, Thailand, and India have shaped this warm, creative space just for you. In my downtime, I practice yoga, curl up with a good book, climb local peaks, or hike with friends.

No matter if you’re here to relax, explore the outdoors, or recharge your batteries, I hope this place offers you a touch of calm, natural beauty, and that genuine feeling of being looked after. Come enjoy the simple joys—cozy evenings, fresh air, and a bit of magic in the everyday.

About This Special Spot

Your private, luxurious room is tucked into a charming 1890s home full of character. It’s just steps from the RailTrail, a scenic path linking Tupper Lake to Lake Placid (with the train depot a quick three-minute walk away). Easy access to the Tupper Triad mountain trails means adventure is right outside your door. The Junction Pass Trail is nearby for a refreshing hike any time of day.

Grab a craft beer at Raquette River Brewery, only a quarter-mile stroll. Head to Tupper Lake Municipal Park and the Sunset Stage Bandshell for live outdoor concerts. Little Wolf Beach and the Adirondack Sky Center & Observatory are close by for a relaxing afternoon. Don’t miss the Wild Center Natural History Museum, with its fascinating exhibits on local wildlife. Hiking trails, mountains, and lakes are all within reach. And keep an eye out—a new café is opening soon for your morning coffee fix.

The Space: Comfort Meets Adventure

Settle into your own elegant room, surrounded by the stunning views of the Adirondack Mountains in one of Tupper Lake’s most treasured spots. Centrally located near world-class hiking trails, pristine lakes, and peaks that take your breath away. As your host—a decorator and avid hiker—I’ve designed it with comfort in mind, blending stylish details with easy access to nature.

The area has something for everyone: cultural gems like live streams of New York Met operas, dance performances, or a visit to a local museum. Lace up for a mountain hike with rewarding summit views—the Junction Pass Trail is just down the road for an energizing outing. Try kayaking on the water, spot otters or explore interactive exhibits at the Wild Center. Tee off at the beautiful Donald Ross-designed Tupper Lake Golf & Country Club for 18 holes of scenic play. Wrap up the day with a concert at the Sunset Stage Bandshell. And in fall, the colorful foliage is a must-see—perfect for crossing off your bucket list and making lasting memories with family or friends.

Guest Access: Make Yourself at Home

You’ll have full use of the dining area for meals, the kitchen for snacks or coffee, the media room for movie nights, shared bathrooms, the front porch, deck, backyard, and fire pit for stargazing or s’mores.

During Your Stay: A Gentle Guiding Hand

I’m just a text or email away—ready with trail recommendations, local tips, or whatever you need to make your visit smooth and special. This is your time; let me help you enjoy it.
