Spring Storytime at the Old Forge Library
Five Spring Story Time sessions will be held on Fridays from April 24 through May 22!
Each Story Time Session:
10:15 - 11 am
Led by Old Forge Library staff, Beverly Meeker and Sarah Bolton
Designed for children ages 3–6.
Features stories and creative play
Including games, crafts, songs, and other gentle activities that encourage imagination and creative thinking.
Introducing children to the library at a young age gives them a strong and positive start. Early experiences with books, stories, and shared activities help build a love of reading while also encouraging patience, curiosity, kindness, and respect for others. Story Time lets little ones enjoy learning in a welcoming community setting, laying the foundation for lifelong learning and good habits. This program is a long-standing tradition at the Old Forge Library, enjoyed by generations of local families. Many parents who attended Story Time as children now return with their kids, continuing a meaningful connection to the library.
Parents may bring toddler-aged children as well; an adult must remain with the child throughout the program.
Registration is requested for planning purposes.
To register a child, please call the library at 315-369-6008 or email oldforge@midyork.org.
