The Old Forge Library’s popular Gazebo Concert Series continues on Tuesday, August 18, at 4 pm with the return of longtime audience favorite Tom O’Carroll.

A Dublin-born folklorist, folk singer, and multi-instrumentalist, Tom O'Carroll has spent more than 30 years sharing the rich traditions of Ireland through music, stories, and history. His lively presentations weave together traditional songs, fascinating tales, and Irish folklore alongside his quick wit and infectious sense of humor. A familiar face in Old Forge and Inlet, Tom’s annual performance has become a beloved August tradition for residents and visitors alike.

The Gazebo Concert Series offers the community a chance to relax, gather with friends and neighbors, and enjoy outstanding live music in the library’s beautiful outdoor setting. Guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket. In the event of rain, the concert will move under the library’s large lawn tent.

Weather permitting, the Friends of the Old Forge Library will host a used book, DVD, and puzzle sale during the concert. All sales and donations support library operations.
